Thanks for the tips on the F75. Got mine about a year ago and I'm still in the learning process. Don't get out as much as I would like, but who does. Thanks Gene

The F75 likes to run hot,it is noisy, and likes to run that way. I found even with the lower sensitivity settings it still performs well above my other detectors. This is a great video and shows just how versatile it is. I love the all metal mode. I still have not found a use for the notch settings yet. I would like to see a video on the proper way to use notch. I also have been told it can detect back fill, I would like to see a video on that. Thanks for the video, this one is great.

I know what you mean about getting out, always so much work and stuff to be done. I was watching a V3i video of a guy trying to hit a dime at 7 inches. He was changing frequncys, rx gain, ground filters and all kinds of settings to hit that thing. Just turn on the good ol' F75 and you rocking! Some of these new machines are really cool, but the 75 is simple and still one of the big boys :)

I’ve got the F75 SE LTD also... If you didn’t know the boost mode and cache mode transfers over to all metal mode and enhances its performance. It’s says so in the users manual and I asked Kelly Co. You don’t need to swing slow in boost mode using all metal mode but you do need to sweep slow using cache mode and when you’re using that setting while in all metal mode. Just set discrimination mode side first then switch over to all metal mode and it almost doubles all metal mode performance. Other settings like default or fast mode or jewelry doesn’t transfer over to enhance all metal mode. This information is on page 22 and 23 of the users manual. As you start to read each discrimination mode. You’ll noticed boost process cache locating process at the bottom of the paragraph says... when the boost mode is selected the response characteristics of the all metal mode are also modified (meaning boosted or enhanced) these characters include less noise and slow response speed. Because now its searching ultra deep and so it responds a little slow. You don’t need to sweep slow in boost mode but you do when you use cache mode. Regardless if you are using them on discrimination side and/or on all metal mode. If you select one of these options and go back to all metal mode they are enhanced if you use any other setting like default or bottlecap or jewelry then it goes back to lower performance or default. Also if you haven’t upgraded to larger 15” inch fisher coil you should. I purchased the larger 15” inch fisher coil for my F75 LTD SE and I can hit quarters over 20” inches deep! Man hole cover or 55 gallon drum jumps from 2 meters on or 6 feet on stock 11” inch coil... However the larger 15” inch fisher coil will hit same amount of metal over three meters or 10 feet deep! So if you haven’t then you should upgrade the coil.

Yes the Fisher F75 ltd is a flagship model. It's up there with the top models. The Teknetics T2 Ltd is very similar to the F75, just a few less bells and whistles, but also a deep seeker. These are both respected machines. I would also take a look at the Minelab E trac. It's really very simple, and very stable. A great deep silver machine. The T2, & F75 may be a bit better for relics, but can be noisy around large power lines etc.. The target ID on the E trac is the best. Hope this helps!

I know what you mean. The all metals mode is super deep. I use it some in the woods and stuff. Most of the parks I hunt are so full of junk that I have a hard time using it there and constantly watching the meter. I need to find some nice fields and do a bit more relic hunting. I'd love to find some relics like you are finding :) Thanks for watching and good luck on your next hunt!

If you are having problems near high EMI areas buy a $7 EMI filter. They help a lot , I run one on my Minelab. You can find them on ebay and amazon.

Cool. The F75 is a beast :) If you are out relic hunting an area with few targets, the all metals mode is super deep! Good luck.

Great vid mate, i am considering the T2 which is basically the same machine...Thanks for sharing....

I had a T2 and loved it. It has a larger iron range than the F75 and it helped a bunch in the nails :) One of my older videos where I found the 1899 Barber Quarter, was with the T2. The US Postal Service lost that machine and I never did get it back. Thinking about that still irritates the S#*t out of me.

For the nickel detection at 9:40, the id was jumpy at 38,40, 51. Those ID# were for pull tab. You planted the nickel there that was the reason you dug it. Normally if I get those ID #, I would move on. 9/10 time, I would get either a pull tab or foils if I get those target IDs.
@CarolinaCoinHunter6 жыл бұрын
It could have been a fat gold ring. The ID was pretty jumpy though. If it's a deeper target, I'm going to dig it. Shallow pull tabs will be much more stable. I've seen low conductors in my soil ring as a high tone of they are deep. Thanks for watching!

Did you find gold with this device? I just bought this device, but in Iran there is no information about how to use this device. Can you teach me the settings for finding gold?
@CarolinaCoinHunter2 жыл бұрын
If you are out in areas that are not developed or would have a lot of junk metal. I would use the machine in all metal mode. Small gold can show up in the foil range . Larger gold will show up higher on the target I ID scale. If hunting home sites and places that could have a lot more metal in the ground I would hunt in discrimination mode. I would just discriminate out iron. JE mode is more sensitive, Jewelry Mode, so I would try that out. It's the same thing with the target ID. A large gold ring will have a higher ID than a small ring. One e way to really learn is to test the machine on some gold if you can. This will allow you to see what it reads, and make adjustments. The more targets you dig up in the field, the more you will understand. It will find gold with just the basic settings.You just have to dig about everything to get it.

what would be the best setting for parks and dry sand? I just subscribed. great video. thanks.

I would just set my disc to break up the small iron and run the sensitivity as high as you can while maintaining stable operation. I personally don't notch anything out, just to make sure not mask any targets close to trash.

I run an F70, do a lot of city detecting. I have learned to deal with EMI. Turn down the senc, turn up the thresh., in areas of bad EMI headphones compensate for decreased senc. Dug a live 40cal bullet at 12" s70/t3. Anyone with more info on EMF filters plz post better info!!

Thanks for watching! If your out in the field away from all the electrical stuff and really crank the F75, it really does go very deep :)

The sound the F75's pinpointer makes... Is that just in the video or does it normally sound like a gigantic dying bee?

actually. If ID # is at 37, I wouldn't dig it, most likely it is a pull tab.

I'll forward you an email of some of my DFX tips. Just PM me your address. This is a general overview of some of the settings I use.
I am a long time detectorist and have a cz-7a but just bought the f75 ltd v2 what are your recommended basic settings to start off with I am in Indiana?
