Fishing A Telescopic Rod From Japan? -- My New Favorite Combo

I've decided to get a telescopic rod to have with me when I work out of town or near the water. That way I can just pull up, pull out and start fishing. I really hope you guys are enjoying my videos! Please comment below your thoughts and if you got any ideas, let me know!

I use the 9.99$, 23 foot chinese telescopic poles regularly.. super whippy, they do work for the panfish, calicos, and catfish though for sure!

I've been on a 1 piece 8' kick for about a 2 yrs now ..... and I hate traveling with them. Just did a week in SD and flying with them AGAIN was a bitch. Love a good 1 piece tho. I plan on getting a few telescopic rods now that they are legit!

*Bought a 500 for an ultralight rod. It's very smooth **enjoyable.fishing** recommend casts great. One odd thing- the bale wire is a bit heavy diameter in my opinion for a reel of this size. But a great purchase.*

I know this is a old vid but have you heard of the Diawa Procyon telescopic. Right now the triple B must have gone up in price but the Procyon looks just like it and 100 cheaper.

Had a question about this model of rod (666TMLRB) You mention it being kinda stiff. What sort of power/action would you compare it to in a one piece rod. The line / lure wt rating on it make it seem more like a MF action than a ML moderate fast.

Did the choice of telescopic rod vs two piece come down to just space? All things being equal (price, quality, total length, etc).

Anotherflores91 this fits in my backpack zipped up. Cant tell that i have a rig in my bag when im on the road or foot patrolling. 2 piece is nice but telescopic allows me to rig up and break down fast with the rig still tied on.

can be for many things? sun/gripping fish/not getting spiked or cut a hip thing? i don't think so? guys all over the world uses gloves... it's not a trend, it's an accessory for what I am doing.

and especially REALLY early in the mornings, the fingers are frozen. gloves helped that a lot.

When I buy telescopic rods I only buys Japanese. They are the one who started it and knows what it really should be. Rest of telescopic rods are pure garbages from my actual experiences .
