Its slow but you will catch big fish on good days, most fish (reds, flounder and specks) move into the bays and marsh where the water is warmer.

Way to go guys, that water looks so clean, always good to drop line in that water, feel good fishing until the sun bakes you. Those mangroves are tasty all sizes. I would rather catch and eat those than trout, my family is not a fan of trout, the worms in the belly freaks them out. I would rather catch mangroves and croaker all day on light tackle. I live next to a lake where people pay $400 to $600 to catch stripers, sometimes that constant light salt water action is nostalgic, that is the fishing I did growing up along the coast. You guys live it up, it's the best of times.

Nice vid . Remember you slip and fall on those rocks and break or tear something you're a long way from the Matagorda hospital in Bay City . There is no medical center in Bay City and Matagorda. I know personally from my own emergency experience. I am grateful I had a first aid kit with me until I reached hospital

When in molt hook shrimp through rear tail will stay alive longer and stay on hook you won’t rip head

Shrimps shed their shells every 3 to 4 weeks through a process called molting. Shortly after molting their shells are soft, but the harden up after a few days.

Hey man just came back from fishing in Port Lavaca Texas caught a few trout and there is this place called capitan Jhon it is a old bait store but they closed down sadly and there is this small bridge I was fishing under and that is when I caught the trout I was using live shrimp and a gold spoon lure. Also in the winter it is a good drum hole but go in the morning to catch the trout I would love to see you do a video there man good luck if you go there👍👍👍
