Fishing and Camping on a CLEAR SPRING FED RIVER in OKLAHOMA

We spent a weekend camping and fishing on the Blue River in Oklahoma. The Blue River is a beautiful spring fed river located in Southern Oklahoma. This river has many gentle rapids and low waterfalls as it flows over a limestone bottom. We spent the weekend fly fishing for trout and tightlining for channel catfish. The blue is a beautiful place to camp and fish. There is also public hunting located along the blue river. Stop into Scotty's on your way down to the River and grab some food and fishing tackle!

Thanks, appreciate it! No, we were fishing mainly in the wilderness area. There is only a small section on the north end of the property that is catch and release only.
