starting out on Ross Barnett Reservoir fishing but only caught one crappie due to a lot of fresh water in the river coming in but it was a slab. then I get the lawn mower tuned up and get the grass cut , some pottery made and then up late changing elements in one of my kilns so I can fish one more day this week

Okay I got to go to bed now. You wore me out taking that kiln apart and putting it back together. It saves you a ton of money knowing how to do things like that.

Welp, here goes mother nature again actin up. 🙄 Looks like a lot of thunderboomers today. Enjoyed the vid. Looks like yall had a good time fishing. Upkeep on the kiln was interesting. You are like my hub. Jack of all trades but a master of none. There are very few things he don't know what he's doing but by dog he's gonna attempt to do it. Great video! What's the best size of clips to use for crappie jigs? I take my dad and he's gotten to the point where I swear I think he likes changing baits more than catching fish!

I cringed when you put the 1st crappie in the cooler. It was full of eggs. You should have thrown it back. I'm an avid fishing women and I'm not starving. So pregnant fish go back. I still love you though. Lol Your Just In Time videos have me crying and shouting in praise. Thank you for those. I know you know the spirit because you perfectly describe it. You know it when you know it.

Right now every crappie is going to be full of eggs. This is one reason they need to be caught and kept. As good as they are they populate very fast and have to be fished hard in mist lakes to prevent overpopulation and stunted fish. It doesn’t seem right but its true. The fish you saw in this video was actually released later because we didnt catch many . It was in a live well in the boat.
