Fishing around Darwin - Landbased Queenfish

Holidaying in Darwin with the family, I managed to knock out a quick Vlog of a couple of fishing sessions in and around the Darwin area.

Nightcliff Jetty and surrounds is worth a look, anything can show up at the Jetty at night so you can try anything you like👍

Is it safe to be fishing right on the reefs edge? Arent there big saltwalter crocodiles all around darwin?

People swim at the beaches in Darwin. Croc sightings around the city aren’t all that common. However always risk assess. Being 1-2ft deep, clear water in front of me and being croc aware I was pretty safe here.

heading to the NT on the 14th of october. Not sure if its closed season wanted to ideally target Barramundi., or any other species that are worth it in the lakes rivers or ocean. any tips from anyone? dont have a boat. so will be doing charters and shore fishing if its safe to do so. thanks
