Fishing AT Abbotsbury on the Chesil Beach - Plenty of fish on a storm damaged beach

I fish Abbotsbury, approx 1.1 km from the car park towards West Bexington on Tuesday 28th November 2023
Fishing from 1200 - 2115 hrs , I fish the rising tide (Low 1233 hrs @ 0.6 m, high 1930 hrs @ 3.7 m) using blow lug, ragworm, frozen blacks , bluey and squid
Rigs are size 1 up overs / 1-0 pulleys and 2-0 pulleys
Fished 3 rods and tested a new reel, Penn Fathom 2 casting special
Action from cast 1 to the end, with plenty of fish
Target was cod
Parking was £8 (24 hrs) and ticket machines take cards - you can also use a phone app , but reception isn't great down there (For me anyway on Vodaphone)

Always fishes best with some choppy wave action, Force 3-5 to stir up the bottom and better in the UK night

I cant fish anymore due to health problems. I do miss making bags full of weights. As a builder, I always had lead cut off from roofs. Often 20kg on a big roof. 😊 The Gemini kit is good 👍, but also had my own moulds I made for other shape weights. Boat leads Often £5 each. So often sold 3 for £5 to lads as often lost in snags. 😊

Thanks for watching Lincoln - The orange petzl lamp at best lasts 2 hrs (it's a bit old !) and the newer black one is about 3 hrs (on max illumination). I tend to use max light, not the I'm scared of the dark !!! I take a battery pack to recharge the dead one and also keep it plugged into my go pro to keep that battery charged - nothing worse than the battery dying for those specimens pout I catch. I was chatting to a guy who had blonde ray and cod that same session, so there is better stuff about. Wish I'd bought another one, while I had the chance on the reels now ! Tight lines
