WOW That was awesome, that last fish was incredible. Definitely a 54cm PB. This is fishing, not brain surgery, a few millimetres out here and there is acceptable. Haha Well done.

I'm not yella to say that your yella was was 54 cm and a PB. Rohan you've proven that big lures catch big fish. I think that shimmering pearl colour worked well in soil tinged water. Well done.

What a ripper yella to finish the video and i reckon with your PB streak that was definitely another PB 👍 you definitely gave the redfin a beating with the other lures there well, the jig heads were definitely a bit heavy for redfin, but hey you made it work, well kinda haha Keep up the awesome work mate

I was fishing the Waranga Basin on the weekend with my 10year old nephew who is now addicted to fishing. He caught 6 redfin and a carp. Hopefully we can bump into you one day to say hi as we have a property in Murchison. Keep up the great work. Love your work.

Thanks Phil! Yep I reckon they would work a treat in the Murray, as long as the water isn't too dirty like when it's high. If the visibility is good they will almost certainly catch fish

Wow the Yella...fantastic Rohan. Beautiful spot there. Just a question..does the line tangle up on the reel when you are doing lofs of casting? If so do you have a remedy?

Thanks so much mate. No I don't usually have problems with tangles on the reel unless I'm using a bladed spinner which can twist the line a lot. Twisted line is the cause of most tangles in general, sometimes adding a swivel above the lure can help a lot. I usually buy the little clips with a swivel attached so I can just tie it on and then clip it to my lure. Hopefully that helps!

Bloody hell mate, what a ripper! Went to the campaspe near Echuca today, got a nice reddie and two carp, Great session with lots of action and a reddie for a feed! The fish habitats they put into waranga basin is great, I’ve heard it’s all very bare. Hopefully in a few years it will be a yella hotspot! All the best mate!
