Fishing Below Guntersville Dam (Pulling Over 35,000gps)

Weight size matters! I had to dial back my weights compared to the previous trip. The fish were thick and hungry! The higher the sun got the more they wanted to bite. Subscribe and stay stanky!
Went for sauger but found a equally as fun to catch fish!

Haha they do all look the same! We were talking out there and it seems they get so thick sometimes we foul hook them while trying to set the hook on a diff fish.

The neat thing about this spot is the species change. White bass, hybrids, sauger, walleye, bluegill, bass, and others all rotate in and out of this spot depending upon the time of year. Thanks for tuning in!

Some people do that at this location. I use a 3 way swivel with a fixed 4ft(ish) leader coming off of it to the paddletail. The weight is clipped to the bottom of the swivel. I show it a little better in another video though.
