Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

Oh god. Covid is turning me into one of those Food TV watchers who salivates over Rachel Rays cooking, but never tries it for themselves. The early morning dew, the chill in the air after an over night rain, the launch... I am vicariously living through your fishing trips and all the excitement i used to have when I was a club angler.

Hey Sb i just was fishing a couple days ago at a lake and i was telling myself “im gonna only fish my googan jig on a baitcaster” because i had never caught a fish on a jig with a baitcaster. after a while... boom a 3 pounder whacked my jig on a rocky bank and it was such a satisfying feeling. i then afterwards caught another bass and a “little”smallie. it was a half ounce juicee jig with a krackin craw. i really agree with that when you said if you wanna learn a method and get used to a rod just fish that and only that. great vid man!

Another good session, with some terrific big swimbaits. Thank you. As a former fishing guide and lifelong fisherman, I just hope that viewers heard loud and clear what you strongly recommended at 40 seconds into the video, i.e., the best way to REALLY learn a type of lure (like large soft swimbaits) is to fish nothing else during a given trip on the water. In my experience, anglers who continually switch lures learn virtually NOTHING about the fish they're targeting OR the baits they're throwing! And that's just as true for me as it is for anyone else.

Nice video bro. I definitely need to take one rod with a Texas rig or a jig exclusively to build confidence with the baits. I KNOW they work they've just never worked for me. I find it so hard to put the senko/frog combo down lol especially when they work so well. This video definitely inspired me tho. So thanks for it!! 😎👊🤘🤘🤘🎣

Ha! Big baits = Big fish! Use to use 10 inch worms and Norman DD 22 crankbaits on the "Rez." The 22's dove to 20 feet. Use to crank the deep points and creek channels and caught some hugh fish! Used the 10 inch worms just up from fountain head at the old damn. In front of it, all the way across to the other side! M🤟😜
@sdriza2 жыл бұрын
= expensive snags
@eddieluvski44992 жыл бұрын
@@sdriza You have to get a “lure retriever.” It’s a piece of lead with loops on it, tied to like 30 feet of rope. Otherwise known as a “ plug knocker.” You run it down your line to the snagged crank bait and bang it a couple of times. It becomes dislodged, and the hooks snag on the loops. Then you just pull it back up with the rope. If you do a lot of crank baiting, it pays for itself the first couple o times you use it. It only cost like $10. Soft plastics are “Texas Rigged,” so they hardly ever snag.🤙😎🎣🎣
