You guys should do an amazing pond race challenge. Two teams of two go head to head in a pond race challenge of ten ponds. First team to make it to pond ten wins $500. Rules are simple each teammate has to catch 3 fish to advance to the next ponds. Clues and bait and rods could very depending on each pond...would be cool and different

Only time I’ve broke off on a unit knot is from being snagged or I didn’t retie after catching multiple fish and/or throwing a lure for awhile. Can’t recall when I’ve broke off just cause the knot failed.

Probably a silly question, but why sometimes baitcaster and sometimes spinning reel? How do you decide which one to use and when?

Depends on the bait if your throwing top water say a frog or buzz bait or whopper plopper use bait caster and preferably braided line and say chatter baits swim baits and heavier Texas rigged soft plastics I like throwing bait caster on 15-17 lb fluro and I like to use spinning combo on more finesse fishing smaller stuff Ned rig and maybe drop shot and some jigs but some of it is just personal preference
