That first spot was stacked with perch before the bridge was built, I remember years ago My dad and I saw a massive school of perch in knee deep water, at the time we didn't fish but we charged into the water trying to grab a few lol.

I caught a decent amount of Perch about 100 feet up the river from that spot this fall

@@Bsprecksfishing yes at first they looked like porgy, now with the sea water influx and current, the perch could be downstream in lower salinity.

Have you seen or heard of any Maine or northern shrimp around ? When I was a kid 50 years ago, we would catch them at this time of year around Cape Cod and the Gulf of Maine.
