Kayaking in small rivers and creeks is my favorite! It's so pretty and you never know when your gonna catch a monster! My PB shoal bass came out of a little river like that off the Chattahoochee.

Epic. Every minute reminded me of my adventure in my kayak yesterday. Winds picked up and I managed to snag my Rapala at the tip of my rod. In a kayak its hard to hold your pole and untangle that. It ended up deep into my t shirt, called the trip after that. Lol. I needed this

You could put crayfish traps in the smaller creeks that come out of the river and then use them as bait in your pond as well as feed your fish with them.

We went on a usually calm section of the river one time and the day we went we didn’t walk the river first and the current was ripping so fast I couldn’t paddle against it. My son got antsy and turned around and managed to knock my wife and himself into a low tree and flipped my wife. We had to get my son rescued was a bad day but could have been much worse we all survived and aside from a few lost items we were all there. Life jacket saved my wife I won’t go without on a river system. Rivers have too many surprises.

Great vid! I think its time to get a john boat and some saws and cut a trail down the river. If you put your saw man on the bow you can put manual anchor poles on the back of tbe boat to hold it while its being cut clear. Its also looking like you need to break out the nightcrawlers and cut bait so you can get the skunk off in this creek.

You need a baitcaster that is made for light tackle. Shamano and Diawa make them and pair it up on a light casting rod. I did that and put it on a 6'8 medium rod. Works perfectly! Keep up the good work and love the content.
