Always learn something from your videos. Never seen that mud trick before ! Good stuff
@davidsheldonfishing97266 жыл бұрын
Gday Caleb. Thats a bit of old school. I should have said you can make the V with the mud on your line quite large and that gives you time to grab your rod before the fish feels any resistance. thank you for your comment. Good fishing mate.

Awesome video, I did bream fishing yesterday, I bring my kayak into Garden island at port Adelaide, drive into a small mangrove Creek, there are many bream in the shallow water, I caught one 38cm bream. Nice worms, I will try to catch some later. Cheers mate.

Thanks Trin. That would be fun fishing up in the mangroves in a kayak for bream nice and peaceful, thats a nice bream 38cm well done. I missed some nice fish on my video, I was a bit out of practice. and nearly fell in the river and pretended nothing happened ha ha. The worms were wonderful. I caught some more today, and yes you get out there and get some. all the best mate.

Great Video again mate. Your lucky you didn't get real wet from that little trip. Ahh that dreaded 4 letter word, "WORK". But we have to work so we can enjoy our pleasure time. I have tried in the Onka but never done any good, just a few mullet. But I will fish there again sometime as I go to do some shopping nearby when I need parts for work. Caught 19 Salmon trout in the Coorong yesterday and a dozen last week. So their on the bite. Very tasty fish I recon. Bought a cryovac and have got a few feeds in the freezer now. May try for a Mullaway after Christmas. Thanks for putting these video's up, you do a great job.

Howdy Cliff thanks mate, yes that was close the water was fairly deep right on the edge I stepped in and luckily I managed to fall the right way, it made a good fishing fails.Them salmon trout are yummy and keep so well vacuum sealed in the freezer. All the best mulloway fishing hope you get onto one or two, and thanks again for your comment very much appreciated. Cheers

Used your berley recipe and have great success at Nelson on the bream the weekend gone. So thanks to you. Do you mind me asking where your accent is from?

G'day RonJon A, thank you for letting me know. Happy to hear you had some good bream fishing using my burley recipe, fish love it. I'm from a place called Hadfield in England about 20 miles from Manchester I think. I have spent most of my life over here and just can't get rid of the accent. Ha Ha. Cheers David

Gday David well I have finally worked through all of your videos and I must say they are very informative and entertaining,I know you love a feed of fish but don't seem to worry about the bream so much basically as in this vid just catch and release,any reason for that ?I was thinking maybe because they are such slow growers .Really enjoy watching your videos.A mate and I are heading off beach fishing in a few weeks and so looking forward to it as I have never done it before.
@davidsheldonfishing97266 жыл бұрын
Gday daveo thanks for watching all my videos, happy to hear you enjoyed them and found them informative. I have eaten a few bream over time but found there flavour was never the same, ranging from really nice to tasting like swampy water so I now let them all go. One caught of the beach might get eaten though. Also Like you said they are very old when large too. Hope the fishing gods look after you on your first ever beach fishing expedition, take some tips from my videos such as burley, bait and hook sizes I'm sure you will, and you might just catch yourself a fish. All the best mate tight lines.
