Hi Chris, glad you enjoyed the video mate. Fish cake recipe is mix together in a bowl equal parts fish and potato a sprinkle of salt a few mixed frozen diced vegetables and some flavours you would like I ad some diced onion some grated cheese a squirt of tomato sauce a bit of chilli a bit of tuscan spice and a couple of other flavours. If you don't mind I will ask you to watch the part of the video I make the fish cakes to see how I put it all together. They are yummy and Aussie salmon works good for them and if you have left over cooked ones you can freeze them in freezer bags for some more quick meals.

Hey Dave, I've been down Goolwa Beach a few times with no luck, generally just using twisty lures. I'm going to give this a shot and head over to waits! Thanks so much!!
@davidsheldonfishing972628 күн бұрын
G'day Mike, thank you for watching and commenting mate. Good to hear you are going to give Waits a go. It's a beautiful beach and very rarely lets me down catching a feed, it is my local beach nearly on my door step. Copy my rig and make some burley springs (I have a video on how to make them) I have a few videos fishing down there with just pilchards or just cockle and both at the same time and I always use the burley spring. read the beach and fish a gutter next to a sand bar under a bit of white water and away you go. Have fun Mike let me know how you go if you like. Cheers David. P.S halco twisty lures are good also at waits but bait is more reliable but a flick with a lure is always worth a go.

@@davidsheldonfishing9726well I went out today, twice, and sorry to say I've come home empty handed. This morning I flicked a line from 7-9am, targeting Mullet and Tommy's with cockles and worms, I felt a few nibbles but nothing eventuated. Then I went back from 6:30-8pm with pilchards and my big rig for salmon or mullet, but sadly nothing. I forgot how beautiful it is down there! I'll be back soon as I also live close by, I hope I catch you there for some in person help!! Cheers, Mike

Absolutely hands down the best worming video I’ve seen. The depth of knowledge that only comes from experience. I’ll have a couple of weeks in the new year around Port Fairy and Warrnambool over in Victoria. Going to give it a go for the first time. The sand varies a bit from coarse grained to very fine,does that have any bearing on where the worms are? Mostly what I’ve seen seems to be on the finer grain sand.
@davidsheldonfishing9726Ай бұрын
Hello Peter thank you for your comment very much appreciated. Well I had a google and as you all ready know there are worms at the beaches you have mentioned, my advise would be to start having a go in the finer grained sand like you mentioned you will find the worms in the coarser sand but as I have experienced they can be very hard to pull out and can be very frustrating when you break them all the time. Can I recommend also watching my number 3 worming video for a few more tips. Cheers Peter and all the best mate. David.

@davidsheldonfishing97262 ай бұрын
Hello Pete sorry to hear about your accident great to hear your trying to get out there fishing again. Salmon are measured from the tip of their nose to the tip of their tail, legal size limit is 21 centimetres. Bag limit is 20 small ones 21cm up to 35cm also 10 salmon 35cm and over so you can keep 30 fish small including large. Hope that has helped Pete any more questions just ask and I shall answer if I can.

Hi thank you, you can find these worms on a few Adelaide metro beaches I know they are on west beach and a few others but not all of them I haven't done any worming down that way but where you can find ribbon weed washed up along the wave line on a beach is worth a look. I have done all my worming on O'sullivans beach, Christies Beach but Port Noarlunga and South Port beaches are out of bounds now no worming allowed but they can be caught at Moana, Maslins, Pt Wilunga, Aldinga, Silver sands, and Normanville, Carrickalinga beach and a couple of beaches on kangaroo island. As far as I know there are no Bungam worms over on the York Peninsular you could have look though. You can catch these worms all year round but it is best in the summer months because your hands don't get cold. P.S watch my number 3 worming video it is informative. All the best David
