Here in Ill we have not had rain everything is really low and dry I have got to fish in spots i could never before. Last time I seen the Mississippi there were gar rolling like whales ! Love watching down to earth fishing.

The Mississippi River is as low as I’ve seen it in many years. Hope it doesn’t get as low as it did in 1989 when salt water started backing up and almost made it to Baton Rouge. But the sacalait (Cajun word for crappie, white perch) were around every dock. In fact everything was on fire.

Love your videos, I do alot of waterfowl hunting down on the ocean here in CT and some of the spots are really bad with mud and I use snow shoes to walk through it keeps you on top. The other thing we do around our blind is we got some old fire hose and pallets and we made a walkway that we can roll up and take with us anywhere it helps alot when the muds really deep.i have been catching stripers up here left and right there a blast to catch, be cool if you could get into some of them.
