It's a beautiful little creek, shame about all the invasive fish living there, good to see a good population of Eels though, the snake skin looks like it might be from a Keelback or also known as Freshwater Snake, common around creeks and good for Cane Toad control as they are one snake that can actually eat them, when you find a skin the snake is actually much smaller because when they sloth the skin slides of the top and underside of the scales that then makes the skin much larger then the snake it self so a metre long skin will probably come from a snake probably only 50 to 70cm, unfortunately Keelbacks get mistaken for Brown Snakes and people kill them, where they are harmless and good for the environment, in saying that no snake should be killed or harmed, best left alone to do their own thing, even Brown Snakes are good for rodent control, I hope this helps 🙂
