Fishing For Halibut In San Francisco Bay's Shark Infested Waters July 20

This video was from July 20th, We had an opportunity to test out the Engine fixes and it would seem the Engine did beautiful and feeling like its running even better than before, the culprit, the VRO was acting up so I replaced it and it was a good Fix. Now to tshoot voltage issues from the house battery where i am only seeing 9 to 10 volts at the sonars but the battery reads 13.3 volts everywhere, this one is an annoying one but I may need to run new wire if necessary to the house accessories. Today there were sharks at almost every single spot, you had to go through a ratio of 5 to 1 halibut and strangley there are lots of smaller ones in the bay during the times of the infestation of shark. We moved alot of spots and found we just could not. We tried shallow, deep, dirty clean waters but they seem to find us. We may expect this to last a few more weeks. don't be suprised if all you catch are sharks no matter where in the Bay you try.

Its true, you had to work through sharks only to get smaller halibuts if your lucky but boy what a strange day and a tough outting.

Incredible how many were around, it was insane, no wonder the bait balls were very scattered and very very spotty haha

yeah lots of small Halibut mixed in with sharks at a ratio of like 5 to 1 it felt. we struggled to hold onto fish, had a number of huge bites and kept snapping 40lb CXX, insane powerful headshakes at paradise, one of the strangest days for fish magically falling off the hook and even coming back two three times and just dissappearing with our Bait. We knew after the full moon and extremely powerful tides we would have our day cut out for us but didn't expect shark after shark.. oh well, saw your video and you are spot on with the unavoidable sharks haha.

Noice. Ya shouldve went to the south bar. Alot slower but usually hook up will be keeper size.

We were testing the VRO replacement and battery this trip and wanted to take it easy however, we actually were at the southbar, it was too crazy and we knew it was but opted to just see how the crew felt, It just wasnt a good day to be there, swells were terrible and the periods were terrible and we knew it, last week monday to thursday was a much better time to be out there. thanks for watching

I do this on my inflatable Saturn 16 ft boat woth my 15 hp motor amd are always fishing in shark water tho your boat is your safety tho try like me a real gettoe fishermen here 😂

no thank lol, but id love to watch you do it haha, I can appreciate sharks but you are very brave my friend id be worried about the trip all day in an inflatable, you've got guts.

@@24ksportfishing I have done it once on my infallible boat amd it was a accident tho lol lol didn’t mean to but didn’t stay around tho so I’m not that brave soon I’ll be posting my 16 ct infallible boat tho only reason I love it if I do flip over it won’t sink l I’m e a alumni boat tho but shark proof no cool video tho
