mr. Lojo, i may be up here in birmingham, but were definitely together in the same boat. I was beginning to think that i was doing something wrong b/c i dont think ive caught anything in two weeks. here's what i love about you....modesty and humility. despite your channel blowing up, you've stayed grounded and it's no thing for you to be straight up and say that you've hit a dry spell. that little bit of info just saved me from spending a nice chunk of change on new gear. i see now that it's most likely a weather issue and not operator error. once the weather inconsistencies start to stabilize, im hoping the bite follows suit. keep up the good work brother!

I use to do this when I first started bass fishing but with blue gill, there’s a retention pond I use to go to a lot and would catch huge bass out there. And we would catch massive golden shiners and that was candy to them bass. Haven’t been there in forever so I’m finna take my gf out there and have her catch her first big bass wish me luck!

I enjoy this, thank you! I live way up in Buffalo, NY, and the problem we had this summer was when the temp. would be up to 100 degrees. When that happens, the bass don't bite at all! Worse, the shiners get temperature shocked when they leave the cool water in the bucket and hit the warm pond water.

Fishing with those shiners reminds me of using peanut bunker and finger mullet in salt water. I have caught bluefish, weakfish, striped bass, fluke, sharks, etc. Biggest striper I ever caught was live lining a 16" herring. (36", 25 1/2 lbs)

Great vid 👌 FYI shiners are just shiners. They grow up to be larger shiners. You're fishing with farm raised shiners. Here in Florida we have wild shiners in certain bodies of water and I have seen them as big as 12-14 inches.

Use pike shiners if have them there? They are huge. Looking good. Perfect time. Even night fishing. Once hit hard change it. 👍 lol. Decent bass. See if your bait shop can get pike shiners here as big as 6" catch nice bass too. Isn't easy like everyone thinks. I do like a drop shot. At night glowing bobbers. Nice bass lol gave a treat. Nothing wrong with live bait fishing 🎣 The bite is tough over here south/ middle GA also. Only thing that has been catching is spinner baits and square bills. I’m trying the ned next time. I usually fish for crappie with minnows but they catch it all.
