Given other methods of harvesting Tuna, this is probably the best. Its species specific unlike longlines and nets. Its the most humane, as a bled and frozen Tuna dies fastest and experiences the least stress. It also appears to employ a bunch of people, which is always a bonus.

a very angry person, beware of your health. bad anger = destroys your liver. Your easy food using machines will destroy everything, lets see what you gonna catch with your easy-to-fish trawlers when the fishes extinct. Japan water already running out of fish and now ugly giant jellyfish starts to float everywhere the ocean competing with the fisherman for small little fishes. btw, nobody said you cannot automate the fishing reels? just stop the trawling.

I know that I’m two years late, but I would guess that the hooks have no barb, meaning the only thing keeping the fish on the line is tension. So when they flip the fish over their head, the tension is lost and the heavy jig just falls out of the fish’s mouth
