Looks like a fun time in the neighbourhood. And thanks for picking up the garbage! I was fishing for catfish this morning near The Forks and, in addition to catching one small catfish, I caught my ever first walleye. I can't target them until May 11 I believe, but I couldn't stop it from biting at my hook!

Every known spot in Winnipeg is a bit of a trash bin unfortunately. From my experience, it's often the anglers who are keeping every catch that also leave all the trash. Thanks for doing your part to clean up.

I literally call the place garbage creek too. Place is trashed all the time it’s so sad. I usually fish elsewhere but my gf used to live in the area so we go for walks there sometimes.
