Love that stretch. Guys were pulling 4-4.5lb smallmouth out of there last summer. Just short of St. Mary's. People sleep on the South branch though. You can find some decent pike and smallies up there towards Ingersoll. My PB smallmouth came from there.

This is in southwestern Ontario, I use a plastic paddle tail bait on a jig or a plastic worm on a large hook, just cast them out and slowly retrieve the bait.

I always think the Thames has more fish than the Grand, with bigger size too. :)
