Thank you for your kind words! While we’re deeply committed to helping the seals, we know our work is just a small part of a much bigger battle. Our rescues highlight the urgent need to address the root causes of ocean pollution-like our reliance on single-use plastics and the gaps in law enforcement and recycling efforts. By sharing these stories, we hope to inspire real change that goes beyond treating the symptoms and starts tackling the problem at its source.

Thanks for all the work your group does in saving these poor animals.. but I have a few Questions 1. How can you find thin fishing lines on some animal so far away? 2. The seals always seem to be snapping and biting when you are trying to help them.. so When you are running and chasing some animal in the 100s and 1000s of seals, how come they not try to bite you? when they see you (in their mind) in their way to the water as someone that might hurt them…how do you protect yourself in these chases?

Plastic straws account for less than 1% of marine litter. I’m old enough to remember paper straws. They work fine. There’s such an ease to life knowing that everything is going to be fine. I want it back. Plastic sucks, only use it where necessary. I imagine medical equipment and I vote for toothbrush bristles. Did you ever try the alternative? Boars bristles are so fine they get stuck between your teeth. The only reason it’s so prevalent is corporate greed. So freaking sick of it.
