At this point my equipment is not able to test these extremely heavy braids, hence my focus has currently been on braids

Please test monofilament please in India mostly we get Sufix , mustad, main brand mono and rest is cheap Chinese brands please do the Sufix please

I've used sufix before, nothing wrong with it you'll catch fish no problem

As sure as I can be. The spool it came on (pictured in the unboxing) had PE1 written on it so assuming the label can be trusted.
