FISHING LONG BEACH VETERANS PIER (CATCH,CLEAN,COOK)

WENT TO BELMONT SHORES VETERANS PIER IN THE CITY OF LONG BEACH HAD A GREAT TIME FISHING WITH SOME OF THE TEAM. EVERYONE THERE WAS GREAT THEY ALL WERE WELCOMING AND I HAD A GREAT TIME!! CANT WAIT TO GO BACK AND FISH WITH ALL THE LOCALS OUT THERE.. SHOUT OUT TO MY COUSIN FOR BLESSING ME WITH MY FIRST BONITA IT WAS DELICIOUS!!

People poo poo bonita as a trash fish. I love it. If cooked properly, it tastes better than some tunas. Bleed it, ice it, cook it, love it! Great video. Real representation of So Cal pier fishing. Props to you my bruddah.

Love fishing there I’m a local in Long Beach I been fishing there since a kid. I went a month ago and no one was catching anything not even mackerels

Yea brother it was a great pier I will most definitely be going back. Core memories as a kid huh that’s awsome! I used to go to seal beach and Huntington as a kid great memories. And yea people were catching but it was slower than my usual spot but I want to go around and try different spots for the viewers

that use to be my favorite pier to go and fish with the family it was always nice and clean.. but they need to keep up with cleaning out those port a potty's

That’s awsome when did you used to go with family it was most likely core memories huh? It’s a great pier to fish at for sure I loved it old school feel probably a lot of memories made there! We use a sabiki with tiny balls of bread but has to be size 3 small hooks on the sabiki no glow in the dark balls on it I have a lil bit of it filmed on my video in Dana point I just posted
