Fun to watch, especially when you're outcatching everyone on the beach and piers, and they don't watch you, and do the same, you know, not all the fisherman, but most. Love your channel, and would love to meet you and BB, at your tackle shop...❤

Brant, the pit boss grills are outstanding! I’m on my second pit boss 1100 pro series and I WILL NOT EVER be without one. Check out the ones at Lowe’s as opposed to other stores. Pit boss does special grills for different stores. That mackerel smoked will make the best fish dip ever. You’ll NEVER use liquid smoke again. Once you see what these grills can do (KZbin is your friend) you’ll be “On the hook” too. Love my smoker and your channel. Tight lines!

The winter grind is real! I'm not from the area but was fishing down there years ago and accidentally snagged a few mullet with a casting spoon and kept them for redfish bait. Then I founded out that people ate the big ones, and I grabbed a basic snatch rig and that was one of my target fish in the winter if other stuff was slow. I always thought they were just a bait fish but after I tried them I realized they're actually really good and now I almost feel like it's a waste to chunk the big ones in to bait.

I have that grill. It doesn't drain the grease very well and cause a serious fire hazard when grilling ribeyes chicken. I mean like huge flames shooting out the back and the top You need to tilt the heat shield so that it drains better and the drain hole and area can get quickly clogged so you have to clean it after grilling something greasy.

Aaaaaayyyyyyy mullet this is my jam as I’ve said on your stuff before more than other flats and salt fishing. Good to find this video after I didn’t get to watch any since the summertime. They’ll bite out there if you want to catch them just to say you’ve done it. But I don’t care about snagging. I’ll take them however I can get them, and I’ll take them from the mud. There’s really no difference. There’s a whole other reason why people repeat that here is but it’s a whole other problem.
@larrykim198217 күн бұрын
No apologies needed for snagging the fish or for catching fish period. If people don't like it they can watch a video about growing veggies. Keep on fishing.

Brant, I use my Pit Boss almost every time with fish. Usually it’s Tilapia from Costco that I will smoke for 45 minutes at 225. Then make a homemade cilantro and jalapeño slaw and make fish burritos. By the way you are the man that taught me how to fish the Pensacola area. We live right outside of Chattanooga but my wife’s aunt lives there in Pace. We visit 3 or 4 times a year and I fish the entire time. Thanks to you I’ve learned to be successful.

Brant. Some clarity regarding the freshwater “Sheephead” fish of the north. What we refer to “Sheephead” up here in the Midwest is actually a fresh water drum which are very similar to the saltwater black drum and they may even be related.
