You should always get a couple large minnows. Put on a big hook, bobber, and cast it into the deeper water. Big fish like big bait. It's sort of like ice fishing with tip-ups. The little fish hang around the weed beds where they can hide for shelter from the big fish.

See at the 5:00 mark, the kid doesn't have enough arm strength in his left arm to lift out the fish. And when you then use your right hand to assist, you can no longer reel in the line. That's why you put the reel handle in your left hand to crank. Rod in the right hand. That's why when you are lifting the fish out of the water, on ALL your videos, it looks like a cluster F. Watch that part of your other fishing videos as well. - Just saying. I would practice reeling in a shoe or boot in the back yard on a deck with a rail to get the hang and practice at reeling in something heavier.
