Great video, very informative. Do you think that this tactic would work in the colder waters of the UK? We only really have bass as a species to target and they can be so lethargic they often cannot be bothered to go for WTD tactics.

Nice video as usual, I really thank you for use two cameras for show us both perspectives of fishing action. As a manager of Savage Gear you have to know that is a bit difficult to find Slap Walker in Italy. From the summer I looked for this wonderful lure but I didn't find in my favourite shops, and even online I found in eBay but is not convenient. Any suggestions?

Hey Pawel. You can try light game fishing. Saddled breams are very active and so are needle fish. You can also try top water spinning for mahi mahi and lichia.

Dear Cengiz pop walker is a more subtle lure that makes small popping sound when you WTD. Slap walker provides a more violent action. Some days pop walker will be the best lure, and other days slap walker. I really believe that you should have them both 🫤

Another classy schooling... But, Markos, brother - make one special for primate like me (and there are more) - light/medium equipment, 10-40 g , topwater or lightly suspending lures... Many of us are never gonna be jiggers and to me there's no such feeling when I see fish attacking the lure,,, Živio!

I think its not the most effective technique in mediterranean but when mahi mahi takes the lure while jumping out of the water, all the waiting is worth it, or atleast thats how i learned to love skipping/popping

Φίλε Θοδωρή, το τι καλάμι θα επιλέξεις έχει να κάνει και με το τι θέλεις να κάνεις. Αν θες να ψαρεύεις όλη μέρα, ευχάριστα, με μεγάλη ποικιλία τεχνητών και να ευχαριστιέσαι ψάρεμα, τότε το 30-100. Ειδικότερα αν ξεκινάς τώρα το shore jigging. Αλλιώς αν θες πιο σκληροπυρηνικές καταστάσεις και μεγαλύτερα ψάρια σε δύσκολους τόπους, τότε το 60-150. Τεχνητά που θα σε βολέψουν είναι το cast hacker, gravity runner, deep Walker και από πλάνους sardine slider, needle jig και slim Jig minnow

Να "αγριέψει" τυχόν ψάρια της περιοχής! Άλλωστε και αυτός είναι ακόμα ένας τρόπος ψαρέματος που όπως και πολλοί άλλοι, δεν στηριζόμαστε πάντα στην "οπτική επαφή" με τους κυνηγούς ή τους κυνηγημένους!

@@nimo484 Μια προσέγγιση στο spinning είναι να βρεις τα μικρά ψάρια (bait fish), κι αν αυτά είναι ανήσυχα και συσπειρωμενα τότε να βρεις αν υπάρχουν θηρευτές και ποιοι είναι αυτοί.Τουλαχιστον αυτή ακολουθώ εγώ.Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις προσπαθώ να βρω κάτι που να μοιάζει ή να παρομοιάζει την κίνηση του θηράματος και να βάλλω για δόλωμα(τεχνητό) αυτό.Συνηθως αν πετυχαινω την μίμηση έχω και επιτυχία.Βεβαια αποτυγχάνω κι όλας καθότι είτε δεν το πετυχαίνω καλά, είτε τα ψάρια δεν έχουν όρεξη να κυνηγήσουν άλλο στην παρούσα στιγμή. Ρίχνοντας τυφλά προϋποθέτει ότι είτε γνωρίζεις ότι στην περιοχή υπάρχουν οι θηρευτές που συνήθως στοχεύεις, είτε ρίχνεις άδεια για να πιάσεις γεμάτα.Με την προϋπόθεση ότι είναι εκεί ίσως ,όπως αναφέρει ο Markos Vidalis τα ωθήσεις να κυνηγήσουν το τεχνητό σου λόγο του παφλασμού. Από δικιά μου προσωπική εμπειρία ρίχνοντας τυφλά με διάφορα τεχνητά και όχι απαραίτητα splashers θεωρώ ότι τρως πολλά άκυρα μέχρι να πάρεις το επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα (θήραμα ή ανακάλυψη ενός τόπου ψαρέματος). Ρώτησα αυτήν την ερώτηση μήπως αυτή η τεχνική μπορεί να χρησιμεύσει στο σκαναρισμα μιας περιοχής από θηρευτές κυρίως (αφρόψαρα) παρόλο που δεν ξέρεις αν κυνηγάνε κάποιο σαρδελάκι σε χαμηλό βάθος.Ναι προφανώς το να δοκιμάσω μόνος μου είναι αυτό που κάνω πάντα εν τέλη αλλά παίρνοντας μόνο αυτό σαν δεδομένο δεν θα με ωθούσε στο να κάνω μια ανοιχτή συζήτηση για διάφορες απόψεις και παρατηρήσεις στο πεδίο. Η ανταλλαγή απόψεων μπορεί να με κάνει καλύτερο.
