The power and speed this barracuda had was amazing. I have caught much bigger fish on bait but catching fish on lures is much more fun for me. Wow, that is a good size barracuda, glad you had tough string or nylon thingy, in the past when we go out fishing barracuda does cause the string to snap but here you have the best string line that can withhold this type of fish. Good catch, and lovely day at the sea shore. The best fishing experience in your channel, I always enjoy and learn your style of catching fish 😲❤

Venus Lopez Thank you for watching! The biggest barracuda in this video was 46 inches long and gave an amazing fight. I used a wire leader which helps prevent the barracuda biting through the line. This place has a lot of rocks so you have to be careful how you fight the fish since the rocks can cut the line. I am happy you enjoy watching my videos and that you learn how I catch different species of fish. I hope to post more fishing videos in the next couple of months.

Peeling Line I highly recommend you fish for barracudas when you get a chance. The big ones give an amazing fight for their size with many powerful long runs.

Please watch my 'Barracuda Tube Fishing in the Florida Keys'' video, in this video I show how to catch barracudas in the Florida Keys with barracuda tube lures. In my experience barracuda tubes are one of the best and most exciting lures to catch a barracuda with. Make sure to have the appropriate tackle to fish for barracudas since they are strong fish that can easily peel over a hundred feet of line in a couple seconds. Topwaters are my favorite lures to catch barracudas so I recommend bringing saltwater topwaters. The Florida Keys has a thriving population of barracudas so you should be able to catch them almost anywhere. Good places to fish for barracudas are flats, near bridges, and areas the water is deep close to the shore.
