Had almost NO luck this week around Newcastle only caught 2 pufferfish hooked by the tail… If you are looking for bait options we find that raw chicken works best (for flathead, bream, tailor mainly)

We used to catch a lot of hairtail in Newcastle harbour. Good eating fish.

Hey mate, Try going 1/16th flr the jig head and the slow waft down of the lure will have better luck in Winter. Bream are very fussy too on the heavier jig heads.
