I enjoy more from this kind of video than other rapid cuts of catching fish left and right. This is real fishing!

Thanks KNG - Yea - fishing is like any other sport - it takes time and effort to climb the ladder to becoming a better angler.

Thanks for the video… maybe do a short video of your boat and how you organize your tackle and rods in the boat.

I love these videos. And I feel like I'm actually truly picking up good stuff and putting it it use, like the tip from prior about casting over tules and letting the wind bow your line around them. I agree with another commenter, this is so much better than just a 20 minute brag reel that shows nothing but hooksets.

Thanks for the support D Monkey - I think my next video may be hook sets - stay tunned - I am planning to do lots more information videos.

Good stuff as always, Steve. I like the concept. Kind of goes with your "neighborhood" metaphor. Get to know the neighborhoods so you can visit them when appropriate. Helps me think about being purposeful while I'm out. Thanks again.

Hey Steve, I was out on the yak at paradise fri night and Saturday 7/9 and 7/10. Thanks to your report last week I did pretty well actually fishing similar spots to what you showed here. 11 largies and a baby striper. Anyways, just like you said last week, all on bluegill chatterbaits and top water walking baits. Big dead zone of about 5 hrs on Saturday, but stuck with it. I come down from Tahoe and am a relatively novice angler. Your reports have helped immensely. Keep up the good work🤙

Floating out there on a kayak, I'm pretty much stuck in the C spots. Thanks for the video Steve!

If you don't already know it my hat is off to all the Kayak anglers. Few boaters ever really thoroughly fish an area - kayak anglers are forced to fish thoroughly and that helps to develop a unique skill set. It take guts to grind our small areas day after day.
@RobFishYT3 жыл бұрын
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 It is a grind for sure, but there are some benefits. I get to fish some sloughs locked in by hyacinth.

The beauty of using the Bubble Walker is its ability to twitch or walk in a tight spot. With the combination of low light, low winds and the right body of water, this bait is deadly (as you know). Reminds me a little of walking a small frog in open water........ only with a better hookup ratio. Haven't used this bait much in previous years. However for the next few months, it will be on the deck of my boat ready.

Hi David - check out the next weeks video - you may recognize a spot or two. What a differance a day can make.
