Great video I stop at Clearlake outdoors every time I’m on that end of the lake

Dave and Nino give me the juice when I’m up that way. I always stop by to do some shopping when I’m in Lakeport. I rock my Clearlake Outdoors hat at work, every once in awhile someone asks me if I “know that Afro dude”. 😂 I heard he hides his secret lures in that thing.

If you are after bluegill on the delta I've fished up more of them on brass spinners than any other bait. I use frogs for bass.

Wasn’t long ago you were telling everyone to go to my home lake. Now it’s shut down because all you delta Bay Area hacks brought the golden mussels there. And now you trying to contaminate clear lake. The damage you do to the conservation of nor cal lakes is terrible. I know it’s not intentional but it’s still what it it is

Hey Steve, thanks for the😂 report. I am at CL this week. I have seen temps from 50 to 52, visibility 6” to 2’. Bite has been better in afternoon. No FFS just old school; best was 4lbs and only 14lbs bag. Scopers were out starring at screen, probably got the big ones.

Hey Steve just to clarify is that anything that's registered so if you have a kayak that's registered it qualifies as a boat what about kayaks not registered or paddle boards Etc thanks in advance good job with the videos

⁠ Forward Facing sonar is a huge keep from fro down scan or side scan or 2D . They all show what has happened. Now with FFS you can literally follow / track down a single fish if you want , you can't watch a fish charge a bait on other technology. I'm not for regulations but we have limits .. You can only use two poles, "A" rigs can only have 3 hooks, you can't snag fish (like salmon in the river) . Regulation to protect the fishery. And yes I have a hook reveal 7 and 9 on my boat side scan on the 9. I use them for mapping .. depth and some time to see if I bait ball or fish. That being said I'm not standing on the front of my boat looking at a screen to see if my lure is bouncing on a fish. This technology is far too easy to abuse. It will destroy the sport in fishing! And maybe I am a hypocrite. Because I use some sort of sonar, but I at least have a limit of what I will do to catch a fish!

Check your forward facing sonar, you'll see what's left after the tournaments . You can't deny it.

Randy could you cover the golden mussel issue and what is being done in the delta to get rid of them, as you know that's where the problem begins when spreading.
