In general retrieval is slower on the casting reels, thats also a difference. So for trout or other fish that jump, its better to have high retrieval to not loose fish aka use a spinning set up.

technically, overall Spinning rods are the best. Casting is for short super high duty heavy fishes but spining rods can do all the job..

@@Zabby Yes sir, rod is 10kg, the other stuff is 9.1kg.. popper 21gand says everything is optimal. it's the loki se from the bass boat pack. lvl 32, can't buy better poppers yet

Dude0251 I have a higher level setup and get about the same. Don’t think anything’s wrong with your setup. It’s just that casting rods are so short which affects distance.

Fishing planet is a grinding game people who work a lot don’t have time to get high levels and enjoy the game, if u buy The Fisherman: fishing planet like I did I think it should be all licenses and travel cost for free, just level unlocks the place

For level 40? The sturgeon in Cali grind helps you level up to 50 and gives you a good chunk of money. After that Blue Crab/Peru/Weeping Willow makes you plenty but you have to spend quite a bit for the setups and to get there.

Im starting to get mad at this game. The interface shows me that I can use a bait on a ValueSpin BUT NO so I go for a matching rod.... but you have to have a stupid floater..... and I was is to use a rod like a spinning rod or casting rod mechanic WITH A BAIT. Very fun game but there is SO MANY flaws in the interface

I wasted so many hours of gameplay in gold just trying to get what I want. At least I had a lot of fun with the feeding rod and I cant wait to have 2 on a stand. This game could have been a super masterpiece but they really lack on interface and teaching the user how to play. I should have been half the time on google
