So ive been farming these at night 7-9pm so are you showing here it doesnt really matter but possibl cloudy is a thing. what's your goto times of day and weather for farming Arapaima Dave. Also ive seen you using this rod/reel combo before so have brought the same to try tonight. previously i had been using the EquatorMatch and a couple of bottom rods. I did make mistake of hooking one with a HeavyCHaser and played it for an hour before loosing it to line tension. was gutted lol.

I had this unique arapaima but using a small rod and reel that was about 25lbs and the arapaima fought me in the 200ft and I caught up but I lost it cause I up my tension with a leader on 😂

@@Aunaltr thanks to you :) Bobber depth is not so important I think? I catch one with 10 cm and also one with 60 cm depth. With the araku bait I just had trophy, so I think the huge minnows are best for unique?! I personally recommend for beginners with lower equip to kepp the anchor up so the drill is way much easier

Exactly large minnow is big fish's favorite bait. Always advantage of having anchor up when catching big fish 🤙
