It just occurred to me, love the shot you guys do of the release and they’re high quality too.. what if you slow-mo for a moment and edit in the common name of each fish that you’re releasing? I find myself very curious..I think it would be particularly helpful because you guys use a lot of slang or shortened names for all the fish without clarifying for the viewer. (Definitely don’t stop doing that) but you could include us enthusiasts who might as well have never fished in their lives by informing us eventually of what the fish is (or believed to be) hope you don’t mind me sharing. Loved everything I’ve seen from you guys.

Do youse have certain shoes for these type of rock fishing or could you just got out with any good pair of joggers or something ?
@Briggsy Жыл бұрын
Hi Mate, the shoes we use have very soft rubber soles, they're called Dunlop Volleys. Not great on super wet slippery rocks but good for most situations. A normal pair of Joggers maybe ok if they have soft soles, but if it's the more plastic hard soles prolly no good.

When you go fishing on medium/light tackle, do you bring a proper fishing backpack or a waterproof one. Would love to see a video of what you keep on person when fishing light, medium and heavy. Love the vids keep it up.
@Briggsy Жыл бұрын
Hi Mate, this film shows what i take in my backpack - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYG4mXhsf6iqldEfeature=shared&t=1559 but it's different for short sessions where i don't bring everything, depending on light / medium / heavy i'll have different lures and the amount of food/water i take all depends on how long the session will be. Maybe I'll make a point of showing more of what's in my backpack in future films if i'm doing a light or medium or heavy session specifically.

can i put a 50lb line on a rod rated for 20-40 lbs?
@BriggsyАй бұрын
If you're careful and don't high stick it with tight drag on a fish you should be sweet 🤙 one thing to consider is if you're using mono not braid your line thickness maybe too much for the guides and run into issues there, but if it's braid and normal sized guides for a 20lb/40lb rod it should be fine.

I want to ask whether fishing on the coast of Australia has to have an angler's certificate or not, and if you dive to catch lobsters you have to have a fishing rod or not, sorry to bother you, I just want to know because I'm Indonesian so I want to know.
@Briggsy11 ай бұрын
In some states you have to pay a small fee to have a fishing license in others it’s free, but there are many rules on where you can and cannot fish and what fish and what size etc you’re allowed to take. So make sure you look up the local rules where ever you plan on fishing (just google green zones for the area and you can see maps, and google size and bag limits for the state you’re in 👍) hope this helps mate 🤙
