Hi, Thanks again for your videos , which are great !! I purchased a boomer anchor recently and am unsure which pin to use. I have a Atomix 6m hardtop and fish solo outside. I just tried ,for the first time, the small pin, in the lake and sheared the pin . My concern is trying to reset the pin outside on my own and also making sure I can shear the pin if stuck. Any advise will be great.

Hey Mate. I run the 4mm pin on my six m it shears easily and I’ve never had it pop when I didn’t want. I’d practice changing pins at home . Lean through the hatch or get in the bow and have a few test runs. I can easily change pins just leaning out the front hatch. It’s safe enough . I’ll do a pin change on vid next time so you see how I do it. Mostly the pin doesn’t pop and the anchor just backs out anyway. Cheers for watching

@@davidmcelwaine6624 yes the thicker ones supplied are 4mm. I’ve used the 3mm heaps too and they hold fine and haven’t had one let go unwanted, they just pop a bit easier when retrieving , the 4mm I mostly get it back in tact

Not sure Our premier will let people in yet? I’d recommend not coming to Perth it’s always windy here. Go to Albany or Esperance in the South or Shark Bay or Coral Bay , Exmouth up north fishing and weather will be better. Not that there’s anything wrong with Perth but you need to work hard for good fish and weather here, and if you on holiday you just want it easy
