Great video. How easy did you find the user manual to be? I have a Belitronic BJ5000 but not EX, going to try it for the first time in the coming weeks. Do you have any links for good videos on how to use it?

Thanks! and glad you liked it! well i got my manual with the package, i think its available on bellitronic website on multiple languages :) helped me a lot tho, print the pages out and read it couple times trough so you have general idea what setting to adjust, for me it was just test and fail basicly - bottom & hill program works really well for me :) i dont have any video links how to use it . hmm maybe i should make one. after selecting bottom hill program adjust the break and catch values.. depends on the weight of the bottom " rock " what you use.

@@FishingwithJaska I probably will be able to find the user manual, but usually these things are easier to learn from a video. I learned a lot watching this video, even downloaded it just to be sure to have it. Would thoroughly appreciate an even more hands-on video you make, and if it includes small mistakes and/or common mistakes for you, even better.

They are looking good machine . I just buy one BJ5000EX. I find the translated manual in English and French but they are both not evident to understand very well how it work. Any video like this from Jaska or someone else is very welcome. Thank’s to Jaska. Don’t hesitate if you have one on auto mackerel or squid fishing.

I have a question. The way you use the machine to fish is fairly self-explanatory. However, I have seen videos where they fish mackerel with tens if not hundreds of hooks. How does that work? I can't see how it doesn't make a mess when the line is pulled up - with hooks everywhere. Can you explain that?
@iver1993 Жыл бұрын
I think I found the solution - angelvinsj (Norwegian word for it). Do you have any experience with it?
@FishingwithJaska Жыл бұрын
sure thing, when you fish mackerell you need some special equipment to the boat, if your hookset is 10 meters long you need to fix pulleys so the first hook does not go to the machine, all hooks need to go trough first this fish unhooking box, looks like postbox or something similar, and so this hookset stayes in the pulleys all the time. then it will be allright, there is some videos from mackerell fishing with this device :)

How long does it take to catch fish?
@FishingwithJaska Жыл бұрын
How long is the rope ? =D yea well if i see there is fish undeneath and they are biting to something, i would say a bit longer than to fish with normal rod and reel cause this system is robot and it does not think =D its just doing its stuff by seconds and might rip the line up just when the fish is biting =D. but yea it does do it, it catches fish thats why professional fisherman are using this device

few accidental rock fish catches but, i guess if you bait the hooks with clam, would work better

Będę szczery. Czyżby to koniec wędkarstwa? Nie, nie, nie !!!!! Takiej maszyny nie wziąłbym nawet za darmo . I'll be honest. Is this the end of fishing? No no no !!!!! I wouldn't even take such a machine for free.

Well this is more like professional equipment :) nothing to do with sports fishing, more like food to the table by selling fish :) but I wanted to show allso this kind of equipment on my channel cause it's something what people don't usually see :) :)

Is it possible to fish in rocky places without getting stuck? The weight of the seabed, and is it a little damaged, and what are the most problems with this machine, or is it a little damaged?
