yeah, Thanks Mr. Gibson. I will always remember this pulling technics. Just like what I have done for a living in the past 35 years as an automotive tech--I pulled wrenches, not pushed wrenches!

I'm a little confused why your so insistent about never pushing cable. Obviously pulling is the default, but there are several scenarios where pushing is a great option. I've used a push method to manipulate the tip of the rods/poles/fishsticks around and over obstacles. It's frequently a good method when you can't pass the poles out of the opening you're sending wires to. It is also useful when you need to pass wire over distances where the pole sag would otherwise be to great.

He's not. He's saying use the right tool if you're going to push (Push Pole vs. the thin Fish Poles. However the thickest of the Klein fish poles are plenty stiff enough to push wires.
