I loved your video did you catch any shrimp, and what do you use for bait, when fishing during the day I use cheese for bait as well as on my line aswell.

Thanks, The shrimp are around the weeds or fallen trees and most are not big ones, usually start with some dog food, and after the first carp I cut a side off and use that as well for bait (carp seems to be better). Keep forgetting to put the cheese in the car and try for a Murray Cod. Last couple of weeks we haven't fished because of Helen's knee reconstruction, hopefully be back to it soon (we have 3 more vids spare).

Thanks for the entertainment. The water and depth should have produced something decent

Thank you. That was my thing. We went back a week later but there was about 6 cars and4 boats camped there, may be it gets a lot of attention. Will try again there sometime in the near future.

We do use shrimp as well, there is just so many carp in the river. There wouldn't be a video quite often if we didn't catch carp.

Beautiful place . I remember in the old days you could camp anywhere . Has Helen ever cooked a carp? If you know how they are tasty .. I think many aussies have not , as they are taught they are no good to eat .Remember in the Victorian market in Melbourne use to sell them and they sold out every week .Did you catch a rod fish (hehe)Great to see the emu,

There is still a lot of camping on the Vic. side, at Neds Corner a bit further down the river at Easter would have been packed. Helen has cooked Carp and it is quite tasty however there is a lot of bones, the best way to eat it we find is fish cakes. It was good to see the emus come down to drink, there are a lot in the park at the moment.

I live in Mildura thanks for the offer would be great, but Helen is still getting our her knee reconstruction. We haven't been fishing for 3 weeks, hope to get out this Friday . running low on content for KZbin. If your ever in Mildura get in touch in the latest video and we can have a fish together. By the way I'm 72 year old and have fished most of my life, including 20 years of fishing for Barra in the NT.
