Mike takes a camping trip with his friends from the Hilo Casting Club over to a rocky #fishing spot on the Big Island of Hawaii. The guys have a blast with different fishing techniques like #slide-bait and casting for the elusive #ulua, before doing some nighttime fishing for menpachi.

I flew back to Hilo from Lanai w/ Mike one time after deer hunting...great guy, I still have his excellent book Pacific Shore Fishing. I never landed anything @ Makenzie but got broken off a few times. RIP Mike.
