Whipping the Big Island of Hawaii - Non Stop Floater Action

The surf picked up just before the storm came in.
We wanted to see if we could pick up some Nenue using a floater and bread.
We stayed close because we didn't want to get caught in the storm.

i was trippin first time i saw my uncle with a bucket of hagi (thats what we called the black ones anyway). Growing up always thought they were trash fish but he busted out a good pair of kitchen shears cut along the top and bottom of fish and rolled the skin off with some needle nose pliers super easy. filleted and fried um up texture was like chicken and very tasty. it was pretty eye opening for me as a kid to see the value in fish most people see as trash.
