Thank you Sparks , aye the flounders seem to be coming on now all around the Tay, the sea trout too apparently but not to me as yet lol. My time will come. Cats getting the the spray and tablets help.

When I was about 12, we stayed for a week's holiday at Tayport as we couldn't get on Carnoustie caravan park, as it was full. There was a wee shop that sold some fishing tackle, but the woman who ran it, it was her husband that sold and dealt with that. He had passed away, so she was selling everything off cheap. I got tons of hooks, swivels, floats, weights etc... And hardly spent a penny. I've never fished there.

Thanks Stewart, i think for Tayport better fishing along the river a bit by the rocks and lighthouses. I like the car boot sale there when it's on lol get some bargains and fishing bits and bobs there. As for the two tripods i found it awkward with 3 rods on the one tripod.
