Thank you Robert, yeh the wind picked up a fair bit into the sesh but where we were it had a bit protection with the wall there.. Yes it is a place you don't have to cast far out but i found that out about quite a few fishing areas you don't need to cast way out. Just watch kids fishing. There are quite a few guys go down there with spinning rods and lures mainly for mackie but also for pollock i have seen a few caught that way down there. There is a lot of weed down there but you can work through it with care. The heavy gear comes into play during the winter for cod which Anstruther is known for as a good place to get cod.

Thank you, well many spot along that wall will get you fish. There's always flounder but plaice codling dabs eels are caught along it too and some other species. Tight lines.

Dogfish i have only ever caught one in the Tay, better bet is along Arbroath have had one of Elliot beach but i have heard of a few getting caught at harbour wall and the cliffs.

@@michaelbird3226 thanks I might go down to riverside some time this week but Is it just the flounders and flatties being Caught?

@@Fishingwithloui It's mainly flounders that are getting caught but there always a chance of other flatties or codling even a trout.

@@michaelbird3226 I'm okay using the GPS navigation kit, it's what's going to run me down that I worry about. 14 foot isn't likely to be seen on Radar of trawlers or rig boats.

Now i have health problems which mean i can't get to all the places i would like and also laid of work due to health. On top of that someone thought it would be a good idea to crash my car. Such is life but back now.
