Awesome video. I'm really enjoying the gear and bait/lure explanations. A Jack in Charlotte Harbor was my first saltwater catch, they're so much fun.

My local tackle shop taught me that the Albright knot works well for heavy mono to braid. It worked for the blackfin tuna last winter!

I haven’t fished for a while, I can’t go to your Shop to support you and your buddies. I had Saturday and Sunday off, I have to work 8 days straight before getting day off. Been with Wal-Mart 25 years. My schedule is hectic, hopefully I’ll get back into fishing soon, hopefully you guys have a very successful Labor Day weekend sale. As always you’re doing great, keep up and keep videos coming. I let my customers about You, Brad and Brent to go visit you guys.

I was lucky enough to go your store last year while in Pensacola, would definitely tell people to pay you a visit when in that area. Were you not going to upgrade your boat and sell this one? Really enjoy your channel. All the best for the big sale weekend at the store.

I’m do most things right handed besides eating and shooting bow/gun. I still do not feel comfortable reeling with my left hand. I throw with my right then switch hands. Besides being a little slower and appearing a bit goofy…..does it really matter to someone who just fishes for fun? I still seem to do alright catching fish. Matthew, Brad and Brant’s channels….are the next best thing if I can’t go fishing myself. God Bless!

Any chance you could make some shark-focused content in the near future? Proper size reels, line, showing how to unhook and return to the water ASAP (various tools you may need like dehooker, wirecutter incase you cant remove), maybe how to identify some different species? And if possible, cook one up too! Cant wait to see what ya got in this vid!

I thought a 14" jack was a beast of a fighter for its size. I hoped to one day experience hooking and reeling in a monster jack like that one.

I was looking at your lil bummy for the mullet run. Do you think that is adequate paired with the Diawa BG 3000?
@BamaBeachBum2 ай бұрын
If you are targeting big snook, jacks, and tarpon for the run. The lil Bummy is too light of a rod to handle the baits you would be throwing and not enough power for those big species. The 10’ Bummy Stick with a 5000-6000 BG could handle most of it. If you are planning to throw big live mullet as bait, you would need to get an even beefier rod.

2 things. ( just feel like putting my "2 cents" in.) #1, I always try my best to not use anything artificial with a jig head. To me there's just not enough of the hook sticking out to hook the fish with when they bite. You're better off sticking to the weighted worm hooks if you're able to do so at the time. #2, not a big deal, and not something that will determine whether I keep watching you or not. This one is minuscule compared to educated questions. Why have a lot of your videos recently ended without really having an ending? They just tend to stop, and then they're over. Just wondering why you been doing that so much lately? Anyway thanks for all that you do I appreciate it bro, God bless
