Action packed video as normal Andrew👍 You would have loved the fishing comp crowd on Lake Mac this weekend🤣 All boating rules and etiquette out the window😂
@Lowysfishing5 күн бұрын
@@petersimpson4916 i made the choice to not go the minute i heard it was on pete 😂 its bad enough on a sunny weekend let alone a comp like that. I haven't fished karuah for years so thought it was a better option than the packed lake.

I love that you release fish healthy and gently, we should all be doing this with 99% of the fish we catch, not to sure about sharing the locations with everyone, it will encourage hoards of people to show up and take everything until its fished out. It happens a lot. Yeah yeah I know the bridge is very recognisable but still not everyone knows.

Beautiful spot mate, quite a distance from the entrance, regular bites, and some nice fishing to. I've watched your drone flying under tree branches up top on cliffy type ridges in other vides, and now through bridge struts and pylons, that's confidence love it.👍

Another nice video. What weight jig head would you recommend for the 5inch daiwa prawn? I will be fishing near bridges. Thanks
@Lowysfishing5 күн бұрын
Depends on how the current is running mate. Try 3/8 as a start but if its flowing hard maybe 1/2 oz. I will use whatever weight is needed to get it down there in the strike zone, at night near bridges using paddle tails ive used 5/8 even 3/4 oz if needed.
