@@Lowysfishing really enjoy the content mate. I see you use a 3/8 Jighead most, if not all the time, where a lot of fisho creators recommend changing alot based on conditions. What's your reasoning? I take it you like the casting distance and sink rate and back your ability to vary your retrieve as needed with rod and reel technique?
@Lowysfishing3 ай бұрын
@@Seids_89 most of the time mate im fishing the same depths an same plastic so i use a 3/8 alot. In faster current i will use a 5/8 oz aswell but wil change the plastic to a bigger size to keep a similar sink rate. As long as i have could connection to the lure as i never like fishing when theres alot of slack line. Conditions play a part forsure but its always windy when i go so normally run the 3/8oz an 3 inch prawn.

At $35 a pop for a single lure am I the only one that thinks lures these days are too expensive?
@Lowysfishing2 ай бұрын
@@vinceveloce9897 all vibes in comparison to plastics are expensive so it depends on what u want to buy. Have u ever bought a swimbait ? So of those are $50-$100 each but if its someones hobby then who cares. For the cost of flathead fillets these days i could easily make up that money if i wanted to keep fish. Its just a matter of each to their own i guess. I wish petrol was cheaper and food an electricity but its not 🤷♂️
@vinceveloce98972 ай бұрын
@@Lowysfishing Mate I'd love to be able to afford to spend 30-50 dollars for a lure so you would need at least 10 lures I can't bring myself to spend three to five hundred dollars on some lures it just seems wrong you can get a decent reel or rod for that money and when you compare the materials and engineering involved with a reel you can probable understand where I'm coming from. I'm not having a go at you I'm just saying how expensive lures are these days. And subbed.
@Lowysfishing2 ай бұрын
@@vinceveloce9897 cost of everything these days is crazy. I know what your saying. It can be hard to justify buying expensive lures as opposed to a reel that can last 20 years. It certainly hurts losing a good lure, i have bn using more plastics this year to balance out the costs more. Much cheaper then vibes or hardbodys and u get decent value out of most plastics these days.
