Gosh that brought back bad memories! First time ever on Chesil I rocked up after dark and not knowing where to go ended up in the cove with it running a good swell. Gave up after an hour. Found Abbotsbury the next day! This was in the pre Internet years I must add, 1979 if memory serves.

You're pretty good around that section of chesil, I snorkled there to film jellyfish a few years back and its all pebbles, all the snags are tight in the cove where the kelp forests are.

Chesil cove my friend You do not need to BANG !! it out there 25 to 30 yards is more than enough you are near at least 3 wrecks and a sewage pipe its 17 meters of water Rocks - Sandy Patches variety of fish - never seen a blue ray ever in this area lol Tight lines Thanks Troy
