Nice Mate, if I can give you any tips it'd be to focus on film over fishing. Study story telling and learn to edit, how to use your camera gear, lighting, composition etc. 90% of what me and the other fishing channels do is film work and 10% is fishing. You can have people care about catching a cod if you tell it in an interesting way and the flip side of that is you can have people skip watching a marlin being caught if it's told in an non engaging way. KZbin has tons of learning resources, you can learn it all for free but yeah just focus on learning film making and we'll all be keen to watch your fishing journey (no matter your fishing ability) through your awesome films 🤙

Why would you want to catch rare fish, instead of protecting them? There clearly is enough fish to eat that isn't rare.
@Briggsy7 ай бұрын
Hi Mate, I'm not sure these are rare fish in terms of numbers in the ocean, just rare that they hit lures, they're not targeted commercially so in theory there's lots of them out there I've just never caught them before.

Hi Mate, cheers for the feedback. This trip and all the others the focus is always heavy tackle, but some islands aren’t good for GT and this trip for instance was on a bad moon phase because weather when it was originally planned, so there was very little heavy tackle action. We put in 1000s of heavy tackle casts at every ledge this trip it just doesn’t make it in the film if there’s no fish. I personally really love light tackle fishing as well and so if after hours of casting heavy there’s not even a look, I’ll switch and try other stuff. Here’s some GT films if you missed them kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqiydqCdpqZ2p9ksi=TUcs7iWNLUmuyWKC kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJXTe3mOf9tki8ksi=P1GDxQFeShs0W_7L kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIKymKCulsuGo6Msi=PoK79CeOVwEbLrxg kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5aleXtrisadiqssi=g-WdkxUoQOetFldV kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmOWpHppgtR9Y9Esi=WR89d9-qd-PsHou6 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fn6ki6eHj5unhLssi=FP6ozA3F8U-CS5iI
