FTWE I've seen these for a long time now in all my tackle shops, but ignored them and always bought usual flat bed. Now I've watched this I'm deffo getting some. Didn't realise how easy they were to load and amazed how it pushes pellets out. Ps love all your vids and how you answer all questions. Top vids lads all the best

Hi Barry Boyd no worries at all. Glad you enjoy the video's and thank you for the kind comments. Good luck with your fishing and of course... tight lines! ;-)

Hi James, we would use a match rod for float fishing and then a quivertip/feeder rod when we are feeder fishing. You really need to separate rods for both situations. Thanks for the comment! :-) Tight Lines FTWE

Hello, normally when using a a 6mm pellet we would use either a size 16 or 18 hook, depending on what we are fishing for. A smaller hook often offers better presentation and can also make for a better hook hold.

Hello mate, the rod we are using is a Shimano Nexave 9ft Winkle Picker, I think it may be discontinued now, but there are loads of other good one's on the market! The reel is also Shimano and thats a Shimano Stradic, which I believe are still available! :-) Hope it helps. Cheers

Hi Russ, sorry for late reply! The bead we were using (i've asked Steve) is the Preston Method bead, this is slightly smaller and will push into the bottom of the feeder. If not I think Drennan make a similar model. If all else fails pop in to your local tackle shop and have a word with them, they should be able to tell you :-)

Hello! Have never really tried the Marukyu baits, have seen a bit about it! I'll have to check them out next time I'm in the tackle shop!

Hi Russ, we use the Korum Quick Change beads, they allow you to change your hook length in an instant! We use our local tackle shop Angling Direct, they also have a website and you should be able to find them on there. Hope this helps, if you need anymore information then let me know :-)

love these videos fella..i personally have used shotgun feeders since they arrived bro (pre-tested them) i swear by them 2mm pellets (soaked) and a little bit of fake maize on hair rig tucked in is always a killer combo

Hello, first of all thanks for the comment! Thats one of the dangers of fishing clipped up, there's only two solutions really... One is to try and quickly unclip it, the second is to not fish clipped up in the first place. If there's lots of hard fighting big fish in the water its probably not a good idea! Glad you liked the vids and once again thanks for the comment! :-)

I wonder if you could use the korda goo with this?

try 3mm nori marukyu pellet with a sprinkling of krill, and then sweetcorn, any pellet, krilled meat or maggot on the hook you'll clear the lake aha!
@baldrickscunningplan61543 жыл бұрын
Most of the Pellets fling out when you hit the line clip. Feeder settles in a different place to the feed that spills out.

It definitely doesn't always land in a nice neat pile! Haha!

@FromTheWatersEdgeTV10 жыл бұрын
Hi david scoynes I'm not too sure to be honest, I guess if you pushed them in hard enough it would do. I've never tried I'm afraid.

Would the shotgun work well with a method mix ground bait?
@FromTheWatersEdgeTV10 жыл бұрын
I'm I guess so nick geary I wouldn't make the mix too 'stiff' though.
@sambrumpton37738 жыл бұрын
Nice vid but why do u always use different feeders why not just a method feeder?
@FromTheWatersEdgeTV8 жыл бұрын
Depends on the venue etc A method feeders not great in deep water. Plus sometimes we'll take a certain feeder out just to give it a try and to see what its like.

you clip up just before you reel in, recast. unclip, then repeat.
