So nice to see a couple flies that are not on a jig hook or include applying UV resin, lol! One thing that surprises me with your nymph rig is those spring creek browns tolerate a bright indicator. I usually have to go really light and use white yarn when micro nymphing. Have you tried stiff spade hackle for your nymphs. I hate losing the tails on my PTNs after several fish and I surmise that the stiff hackle might make the nymph flutter a tad like the neutral buoyant natural. Thanks again Jay - I love your trout video's - get a cameraman the next time so we can see your excellent drifts and the bobber go down.

I know what you talking about with the modern flies. I normally use And can get away with A white colored indicator. Yes I have used Spade hackle In the past, Works just fine

Great format. A bit on the water selected, a bit on gear, a bit on presentation, and tying a pattern used.

Your sulphur emerger with the brown shuck and yellow body is a dirty fly! Used to buy these at the Pendleton shop.
